Mr. Borchers grew up in rural Verndale, Minnesota. He shares insight from his father, a life that included horses, boxing gloves, and strict church pews. Life was centered around the small town, small family farms, the school, its sports teams and music programs.

A post-college career led to pastoral ministry. A career change brought him to manufacturing management in the microelectronics and health care industries.

He is a gifted trumpeter, guitarist and keyboard player. Today he is an author, songwriter, and speaker. He and his wife reside in Arizona.
